Notre-Dame de Pareloup, old chapel
Mazan is a commune of ca. 5,000 inhabitants. It is located in the region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur in the Vaucluse department in the south of France.
The doors of the ramparts dating XII ° and XIV ° give evidence of medieval period as well as Pareloup's church (XII ° and XV °) reshaped several times, which shelters works of the sculptor Jacques Bernus, native of Mazan. In the North is of Mazan, you will discover the Path of Sarcophaguses: the cemetery is surrounded with a succession of stony sarcophaguses of the VI-th and VII-th centuries, found in fields in the XVIII-th century.

I have been to France and Loved it there! Number one advice i have to give is while you are there try spneikag French to people over there even if it is hi (oui) or thank you (Merci) they truly appreciate it. Take time to enjoy the little cities if you can of France and things like the open market, take a boat ride on the river and watch the night life of France people there let loose and have fun all the time. I loved Versille if you get a chance visit it. Eat real French food, skip Hard Rock Cafe or Planet Hollywood. Eat at an outdoor cafe and take in the city life. Most of all have fun! France is beautiful and there is so much to see.
