When I'm asked to pick the easiest French wine to enjoy as a daily table wine for the beginner, Côtes du Rhône is always my first pick in terms of price, quality and less change to fail. But still if you mind the price of Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Luberon or Côtes du Ventoux will be the next in line. Similar grape varieties, but more inexpensive.
La Vieille Ferme is the representative of Ventoux, produced by Perrin family of Le Château de Beaucastel. Very smooth and gentle. Medium-bodied, Rich and dark-skin berry.
Blended with Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah.
